VK has announced that there will be a built-in antivirus for users of the RuStore Android app store, with which you can check your mobile device for malware and digital threats.

The invention is based on Kaspersky Lab's software scanning. Once a day, the owner of the gadget gets a notification. If a threat is identified, the antivirus integrated into RuStore may be disabled in the program settings.

RuStore was developed as an alternative to Google's Play Store, which prohibited Russian users and Android app developers from entering the market. There are 13 categories for software products at the moment: "State," "Food and drinks," "Medicine," "Education", "Announcements & Services, Shopping, Entertainment, Social, and Finance. There is a separate section for games.

RuStore is Russia's largest domestic app store for the Android platform in terms of audience size. According to Mediascope, the site has ten million users over the age of 12 in Russia.
