VK has announced that there will be a built-in antivirus for users of the RuStore Android app store that will enable you to check your mobile device for malware and digital threats.

The invention is based on Kaspersky Lab's automated scans once a day. If a danger is discovered, the owner of the gadget will be alerted via the program settings.

RuStore was developed as an alternative to the Google Play Store, which prohibited Russian users and Android app developers from entering the domestic market. There are 13 categories: "State", "Food and drinks," "Medicine", "Education," "Announcements & Services," "Shopping, Entertainment, Social, Transportation, and Finance. There is a separate section with games.

RuStore is Russia's largest domestic app store for the Android platform in terms of audience size. According to Mediascope, the number of users of the site is ten million people over the age of twelve in Russia.
