Resident Evil 4 Remake: Graphic Comparison on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC ...

Resident Evil 4 Remake's video demonstrates a graphic comparison of the final version on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC.

The remake of Resident Evil 4 is now available on the internet. An example video from ElAnalistaDeBits shows how the game performs on the technical side on the platforms.

The Xbox Series S is a collection of games that were released in the 1980s.

Resolution mode: 1440p at approx. 40fps with temporal reconstruction Performance mode: 1080p at approx. 60fps with temporal reconstruction

The Xbox Series X is now available for purchase.

Resolution mode: 2160p at approx. 50 frames per second with temporal reconstruction Performance mode: dynamic 2160p at approx. 60 frames per second with temporal reconstruction

PlayStation 5 is now available.

Dynamic 2160p at approx. 55 frames per second with temporal reconstruction Performance mode: Dynamic 2160p at approx. 60 frames per second with temporal reconstruction

PC is a computer-based system.

2160p at maximum settings | RT ON | RTX 4080 | i9 12900K | 32GB DDR5

According to the comparison, the Xbox Series X has a higher average resolution than the PlayStation 5, due to a more invasive temporal reconstruction on the Microsoft console. SSR reflections also perform better on the Xbox Series X than PS5.

On the Xbox Series S, a lower LOD (geometry and animations) was observed. This is clearly evident in the terrain representation.

On Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, the ability to monitor reflections is enabled. This is why it is strongly recommended to disable it in order to gain more frame rates.

Although the Xbox Series S does not include a ray tracing capability, there are indications that it may be a good idea to do so in Resolution mode.

Leon and other characters or animals may be enabled on PC, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5 without any disturbance to the lighting in the dark areas.

When switching graphics modes, there is currently a glitch with texturing in the Xbox Series S version. However, restarting the game fixes the issue.

None of the consoles exceeds 60 frames per second on frame, but in comparison, the PS5 has a few frames more framerate than the Xbox Series X.
