Resident Evil 4 receives a video analysis from Digital Foundry, which examines the PS5, PS4 and Xbox Series X|S versions, before closing (at least for the moment!) the speech relating to the adaptation of the survival horror film by Capcom.
ElAnalistaDeBits' video review of Resident Evil 4 confirms that the higher definition version runs at generally higher resolutions than the PS5 version.
In this case, the Xbox Series S is able to run the game at 1440p while in performance mode at 1080p, although it fails to achieve a consistent 60 fps. This is a known problem that also exists on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
The PS4 version, which does not exceed 900p and clearly does not have the two graphics modes, is forced to settle for 35-50 frames per second, which, nevertheless, is awful to see in motion on the PS4 Pro.
