The studio Disney is said to be developing a television series based on the franchise "Indiana Jones" at the end of last year, according to sources at Variety, and a search for screenwriters commenced.
According to reliable insider Jeff Snyder of Above the Line and The Hot Micseries Lucasfilm about Indiana Jones is no longer scheduled for release on Disney+. Moreover, according to some rumors, Disney ordered Lucasfilm to concentrate on projects based on "Star Wars."
If the insider's information is correct, then the decision to focus on the successful Star Wars franchise might be to blame for a number of other cancellations, including the planned ending of the fantasy series "Willow," which isn't renewed for a second season, although the showrunner is certain that it will continue.
