Square Enix released the video complete with the panel, during which two trailers were shown, one of which was dedicated to the game's open world.
Producer Naoki Yoshida first presented the brand new episode of the series to the public, explaining its setting, characters, and narrative assumptions, before going into great depth about the series' structure and gameplay, which are characterized by truly spectacular fights.
After a few minutes, the second trailer arrived, offering a recap of the story and the fights, giving an overview of the open world and the activities that will guarantee the duration of Final Fantasy 16.
The setting of this new chapter seems to offer the now-traditional combination of very large landscapes and settlements that we will be able to visit in order to meet new characters and possibly access secondary missions.
When Final Fantasy 16 arrives on PS5 on June 22, we'll see what we've learned so far.
