Season 2 of Spy x Family will be released in October, as previously reported, as well as a key visual for the next original film titled Spy x Family: CODE WHITE, which will premiere on December 22. The film's narration will be handled by mangaka Tatsuya Endo and created by CloverWorks.
At JumpFesta '23, the series announced a second season and a film.
The first season of the anime, based on a manga by Tatsuya Endo, was published in April. The second season, which was released in the Spring of 2022 anime season, is also directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi. Kyoji Asano is also credited as the series' musical director.
