The new trailer and visual for the Too Cute Crisis anime have been released ahead of its premiere on April 7th. Chogakusei's "Space Cat Big Bang" is the opening theme song, and Dialogue+'s "Nyanbori de Moffy!" is the ending theme song.
Aya Satsuki will direct the series' composition and screenplay, while Chiho Wada will direct the art direction. Mayumi Watanabe will direct the character designs, while Shun Narita and Yusuke Seo will direct the music.

Mitsuru Kido, who authored and drawn the original Too Cute Crisis manga series, has been serialized in Shueisha's Jump Square magazine since October 2019. The chapters have been organized into five compiled volumes starting in April 2022.
HIDIVE is planning a live stream of the series outside of Japan, describing the plot as: "Invading alien Liza Luna wants nothing more than to annihilate planet Earth." Her travels soon take her to a cat café, where the furry felines inside invade her heart just as strongly as Liza invaded Earth!" Destroying the world will not be as difficult now that she's discovered the delights of kitty cats.
