The second teaser and a new key visual for the next Kaminaki Sekai no Kamisama Katsudo anime have been released ahead of its release on April 5.
Rie Takahashi will play Dakini, while Mikako Komatsu will play Rishu, and Ami Koshimizu will play Gaia. Other previously announced cast members include:

- Aoi Yuuki as Atar
- Kana Hanazawa as Aruraru
- Megumi Ogata as Kuren

Yuki Inaba is the anime's director, while Kaori Yoshikawa will direct the character designs. Rin Kurisu sings the opening theme song, while Akari Kito sings the ending theme song.
What God Does in a World Without Gods, according to Aoi Akashiro and illustrated by Sonsho Hangetsuban, was first published on Hero's Inc.'s Monthly Hero's from May 2019 to October 2020, then transferred to Comiplex in November 2020.
Masato Urabe, the son of a mysterious cult leader, is made reincarnated and discovers that the god they worship–Mitama–was also brought into the new world with him. However, the world they are in today does not believe in religion and they must come up with strategies to grow their following.
Kaminaki Sekai no Onee-chan Katsudo, a manga spin-off series, was created by Shinya Murata and illustrated by Tokisada Hayami for Comiplex in November 2022.
