Mo'Nique is returning to Netflix after a brief boycott and legal battle over pay discrimination with the streaming giant this week. The official teaser for her stand-up comedy special My Name Is Mo'Nique was released this week.
'Y'all gonna say 'Oh, bi**h I get it now!' the 55-year-old singer says towards the start of the commercial.
My Name Is Mo'Nique will be a must-see performance when it premieres on April 4.
The mother of four spoke out recently about how she and Netflix were able to reconcile their differences. "We went to mediation, and we were able to come up with something that everyone was happy with," she told The Hollywood Reporter.
Her statements supported what the trailer enthuses, stating, "This one right here is personal." "You'll say, 'Now we understand that woman,'" she says of the special. "Before I thought, I was just being funny."
