Gilbert Arenas claims that NBA players never feared playing LeBronJames ...

Gilbert Arenas has been very open about the NBA's current structure since he resigned over a decade ago. The 41-year-old recently stated that players do not fear competing against LeBron James and other NBA greats.

Josiah Johnson, the host of Gil's Arena, asked for Mario Chalmers' views on his former teammate. "It's correct," Arenas said. "But you can't use it as a negative against LeBron."

"Did anyone fear Magic Johnson?" says the author. "Did anybody fear John Stockton or Karl Malone?"

"Michael Jordan was feared. Allen Iverson was feared. Kobe [Bryant] was feared," said the former Washington Wizard. "Guys who have the ability to score 30 to damn 70 points are feared."

The 2003 Most Improved Player noted that LeBron James is a "all-around player," thus his scoring ability was not the primary concern. "Even though he gave you 40 [points," it wasn't the same 40 as an Allen Iverson or Kobe or a Michael Jordan."

Gilbert Arenas played for the Orlando Magic in 2011 and scored 51 points against him in 19 total games. He scored 30 or more points in seven games, and 25 or more points in 12 games, according to StatMuse.

LeBron James is currently sidelined with a foot injury while the Lakers continue their playoff quest. With only nine games left in the season, the Lakers are currently the 10th seed in the Western Conference.
