Susie Evans asked why Clayton Echard chose her to be his main focus after The Bachelor, saying they "aren't compatible." Six months after their separation, the 29-year-old wedding videographer explained on Nick Viall's podcast Viall Files on Tuesday, March 21.
Susie left the show for the final rose ceremony during Season 26 of the popular ABC dating program. Clayton admitted that he loved all three finalists, Susie, Gabby Windey, and Rachel Recchia, and that he had slept with Gabby and Rachel.
Susie told Nick and Andrew that she believes relationship is a tough process. "I remember thinking," she said, "Why did you pick me?"
Susie replied, "I mean, I'm not sure now, but Clayton is more compatible with Rachel."
Rachel and Gabby were chosen as Season 19's co-leads for The Bachelorette at the conclusion of the series. Rachel then rescheduled her show proposal after discovering that her final rose pick, Tino Franco, had cheated on her!
