Tekashi 6ix9ine was admitted to the hospital this week for injuries sustained in a fight. The 26-year-old was reported to have jumped in a gym in Florida.
According to TMZ, a group of men approached the Brooklyn rapper while he was inside a sauna on Tuesday (March 21). The "GUMMO" rapper was attacked and attempted to repel them, but was eventually outnumbered and defeated severely, according to his attorney Lance Lazzaro.
The footage of the beatdown has surfaced on the internet, showing the Dummy Boy rapper lying on the ground while being punched and kicked. “Ni**a!” one of his attackers yelled, adding that the filmmaker wanted to be famous.
The term "rat" implies that 6ix9ine was thrown under the bus in court and later sent to prison.
Another video that was shared on the internet showed Tekashi after the attack, bleeding and swollen. “They jumped me,” he says while a fan records. 6ix9ine is said to have also suffered cuts and bruises to his back, jaw, and ribs.
Back in January, his attackers were evidently different from Funk Flex. After Gunna filed an Alford plea in the YSL RICO case, he banned 6ix9ine from radio play.
