iPhone 15 Pro will have a unified volume button and a mute button, according to a leak ...

Previous reports have suggested that the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max smartphones will have a combined volume button and a mute button. Now, the Chinese version of TikTok has confirmed this information.

iPhone 15 Pro models will have a single elongated volume control button. The iPhone's mute switch, which was introduced as the first model in 2007, will be replaced with a button with the same function. Thus, to turn off or turn on the iPhone's ringer, you must press the button, not move the switch.

Two additional Taptic Engines are said to be able to provide tactile feedback, comparable to the Home button on the most recent iPhone SE or the Force Touch trackpad on modern MacBooks.

The standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models will have two physical volume buttons and a mute switch.

Another leak claims to show iPhone 15 series front glass panels. According to the images, the Pro models will have thinner bezels around the display, and the Dynamic Island feature will be extended to the standard iPhone 15 models as well.
