Do you remember a lawsuit filed by a group of gamers against Microsoft for the acquisition of Activision? A judge investigated the matter and, following his findings, dismissed all charges.
According to the prosecution, Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley filed a motion to dismiss the so-called "Cause of gamers."
A group of ten gamers from California, New Mexico, and New Jersey filed the "gamers lawsuit" in December 2022, alleging that Microsoft would buy Activision Blizzard from it because to concerns about a sluggish gaming industry.
During the trial, Judge Corley asked, "Why should Microsoft make Call of Duty exclusive to its platforms, resulting in fewer games being sold?" The answers provided clearly did not satisfy the judge, who voted to dismiss all charges.
Despite the fact that Activision is being bought by the European Commission, it seems that it is becoming more probable.
