Electronic Arts has dropped support for several of its games. On April 28, 2023, the company announced that it will remove shooters from digital sales. Battlefield 1943, Battlefield: Bad Company, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 are all part of the action adventure Mirror's Edge.
Update: It was previously reported that Mirror's Edge would be affected, but EA acknowledged that it was a mistake. Adventure isn't expected to be removed from digital stores.
The cessation of sales will serve as a prelude to the discontinuance of the above-mentioned games' servers. It is scheduled for December 8, 2023.
After that, players will be unable to participate in online Battlefield modes. However, single player campaigns will still be available to anyone who has purchased the game. However, all of these projects are not sold in Russia.
All Battlefield: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 players are encouraged to tell their best memories of their time playing.
