The early access beta test for Diablo 4 took place this past weekend, and things did not go so smoothly for many eager fans. The main complaints were long lines and unreliable servers, but there were also complaints about PC memory leaks, and some players found their saved characters gone.
These limitations would be a disaster for a true release. However, Diablo general manager Rod Ferguson says it was precisely what Blizzard expected.
Ferguson's view can't be disputed. OBT will take place next weekend. We hope that many of the problems that players encountered last weekend will be resolved by then.
