Andrzej Sapkowski met with the creators of the Witcher trilogy at CD Projekt Red in Warsaw. The company has released a detailed report on the meeting on its website.
"Last week we had the incredible honor of hosting the creator of the world of The Witcher, Andrzej Sapkowski, in our studio." CD Projekt Red tweeted.
The behind-the-scenes discussion between the writer and the developers is sadly unreported, but we can safely assume that the meeting was conducted in a friendly environment. Sapkowski signed an impressive quantity of papers, and during this time he even visited the motion capture studio.
The Witcher's leitmotif was, of course, the world. As we learned from a post by Philip Weber, the Narrative Designer at CD Projekt Red, the developers received quite a lot of writing advice. Perhaps some of the learned wisdom will help the next game.
The Witcher 4, which was released last year, is still under wraps, and development on it is still at an early stage, according to CD Projekt. It is expected that the game's development will be based on the Epic Games tool.
