After a rather irregular film in 2019, Hellboy was set to get a fresh reboot, with Ron Perlman as Anung Un Rama, who had already announced some details about the plot. The new information that has come about the film comes directly from its creator, Mike Mignola.
Mignola has been praised for this new interpretation of his character and the direction his director has given him in an interview with Variety.
Mignola wanted to reiterate your expectations about this reboot, since according to his account, this is a very modest budget because it does not necessarily require significant expenditure to produce a short but very powerful story like The Crooked Man.
After the failed attempts, we'll have to see how the film's production progresses, but if everything goes as Mignola wishes, we may see a purer version of Hellboy on the big screen, rather than an adaptation that's less similar to the original superhero in recent years.
