According to the Hollywood Reporter, victoria alonso, the producer of Marvel Studios, had decided to leave the company after seventeen years.

Alonso has played a vital role in ensuring that Marvel film productions are exceptional, including co-producing Iron Man in 2008, Iron Man 2 in 2010, Thor in 2011 and Captain America: The First Avenger in 2011.

Avengers was executive produced by the Head of Visual Effects in 2012. She worked with her team to create marvellous films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, before moving on to television series for the streaming platform Disney+.

In 2021, she was promoted to president of the physical and postproduction, visual effects, and animation divisions, while in 2022, she produced Argentina, 1985, the film directed by Santiago Miter, which won a Golden Globe and was nominated for best foreign film.

Victoria Alonso's passing appears to be linked to poor box office results as well as poor reviews of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. It remains to be seen how much his absence will affect future Marvel films.
