Unified Volume Button and Mute Button on iPhone 15 Pro are revealed in leaked CAD images ...

According to fresh leaked CAD screenshots shared on Chinese TikTok and also posted on Twitter by ShrimpApplePro, Apple's upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max handset will have a unified volume button and a mute button.

The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a single elongated volume adjustment button, which will replace the existing iPhone buttons. Also, the iPhone's mute switch that has been on since 2007 will be replaced with a mute button to turn the iPhone's ringer off or on.

The new volume and mute buttons are thought to be solid-state designs. They will no longer move physically, rather providing haptic feedback from two additional Taptic Engines that will be included inside the iPhone.

The two physical volume buttons and mute switch will remain in the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models until Apple unveils the whole iPhone 15 series in September, as is traditionally.

Sonny Dickson, a tech reviewer for iPhone 15, has given us a closer look at the iPhone 15 series' front glass panels. Dickson's pictures demonstrate that the Pro models will indeed have thinner bezels around the display, and that the Dynamic Island, previously only available on iPhone 14 Pro models, will be extended to standard iPhone 15 models.
