DOES Naruto and Gintama's Music Video Features Songs from Asia's Kung-Fu Generation ...

Naruto and Gintama music videos will be released soon by two well-known Japanese bands. The Naruto music video will be produced by Asian Kung-Fu Generation. The Gintama music video will be produced by DOES. The videos will be available on March 26, 2023. [Thanks, Comic Natalie!]

The project, called "Jump MV," will feature original animation from manga published in Weekly Shonen Jump along with music from SME-managed musicians. The Naruto and Gintama music videos are part of the "Anime Theme Song" series, and will use songs from the manga as themes for their respective anime adaptations.

A few peeks at the music videos' art were also shared.

"Far Away" is the opening theme for the Naruto anime series in Japan (the English dub version used it as its third opening theme). Episodes 26 to 53 included the Chunin Exam story arc. The adaptation of Naruto: Sasuke's Story was also included in the Boruto anime series.

"Shura" (or "Pandemonium") is the Gintama music video song that was featured in DOES episodes 50 through 60. These episodes covered the Benizakura storyarc.

On March 26, 2023, Viz Media publishes both series in English.
