Haato Akai, a Hololive Prodcution VTuber better known as Haachama, will be taking a break from performing for the time being. According to the post, the decision for Haato Akai to take a break was made due to the performer's "poor physical condition."
Haato Akai's retirement comes just days after she appeared during the Hololive 4th fes live concert, which was scheduled to take place on March 18, 2023. However, following an announcement on her Twitter account, the stage show was canceled so Haato could "put her whole" into the event. Her health was also a major motivator for that decision.
Haato's song "BUTA" can be seen during the fourth Friday of every month, lasting about one hour and nine minutes.
Haato Akai, who was part of the "1st generation" Hololive VTubers, has taken a six-week break from streaming in late December 2022 for various "academic" reasons. On January 21, 2023, she resumed streaming.
Haato Akai will go on hiatus from March 2022. No specific date for her break was given. Her archived videos and streams are available via her YouTube channel.
