According to the Hollywood Reporter, victoria alonso, the producer of Marvel Studios, decided to quit the organization after seventeen years.
Alonso has aided in some way in transforming Marvel film productions, including co-producing Iron Man in 2008, Iron Man 2 in 2010, Thor in 2011 and Captain America: The First Avenger in 2011.
Avengers was executive produced by Donald Glover in 2012. She worked with her team to create fantastic movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, before moving on to television series for the streaming platform Disney+.
She was promoted to president of the physical and postproduction, visual effects, and animation divisions in 2021, while in 2022 she directed Argentina, 1985, a film directed by Santiago Miter, which won a Golden Globe and received an Oscar nomination for best foreign film.
Victoria Alonso's departure has seemed to be linked to poor box office results as well as poor ratings of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. It remains to be seen how much his absence will affect future Marvel productions.
