Lars Gustavsson worked for EA DICE for more than 20 years before establishing his own studio. This is revealed in Swedish company documents.

Lars Gustavsson, a developer veteran from EA's famous shooter series, has announced his retirement from EA DICE. He worked for the Swedish developer studio for a total of 22 years.

It's time for something different.

Gustavsson stated when he left that it was time for something different. Now it has been leaked that the experienced developer has established his own studio, according to Insider-Gaming.

The opening is expected to have taken place in April 2022. However, the registration took place in November.

TTK Games is a game development studio based in Stockholm, according to records from a company in the Swedish capital. His previous employer is also in the Swedish capital.

The Swedish industry classification confirms that video games are in fact what it is about. It states in Swedish: "Publishing computer games."

Gustavsson will continue to focus on shooter games. This is indicated by the title "TTK," which probably means time-to-kill. What is meant by this is the time it takes to kill a shooter.

Other interesting developments:

Battlefield 2042 is still being managed by EA DICE, which may receive more support than expected. The studio is also constructing the next single-player campaign for the game.

Byron Beede, a former Call of Duty head, and Vince Zampella of Respawn Entertainment have been named as Battlefield's new director. Ende 2022 is also the producer of the fourth main EA DICE remake.
