The project's development is likely to resume.
CD Projekt has announced a write-off of PLN 42.9 million (about $10 million) spent on the development of Project Sirius, a new game from the Molasses Flood studio. Project Sirius is a multiplayer game set in the Witcher universe.
On the face of the holding's declaration, one can assume that Project Sirius would be restarted.
Project Sirius was started by The Molasses Flood in December of 2018. The project was implemented even before the studio was purchased by CD Projekt in 2021.
Project Sirius is designed for a wider audience than other CD Projekt titles. In addition to multiplayer, the game will also have a single-player mode.
Project Sirius' release dates and target platforms have not been announced yet.
This is an interesting story.
