Deviation Games, which has teamed up with Sony, has received some information in the last months of 2022. Several weeks have gone since the information received on the matter. Yet, something seems to have changed in this regard, as LinkedIn has leaked information.
Oops Leks provided the most recent information about Deviation Games' exclusive PS5 being a continuously supported FPS. Instead, the most recent information obtained from the account belonging to Derek Sunshine, design director presso Deviation Games.
Sunshine's LinkedIn profile states that the new PS5 game will have a single-player and cooperative mode. This implies that the future FPS with continuous support should only focus on PVE dynamics, leaving out a more competitive component with the other users who will populate the game world.
Aside from the recent updates to the Deviation Games' LinkedIn profiles (where it is now reported that Derek Sunshine is the Design Director of a AAA game designed for solo and co-op mode), there has been no official news from the company or Sony.
In the next weeks, further feedback is also anticipated, while further details on the project's future are expected.
