Synopsis of the Dragged Across Concrete plot
'Dragged Across Concrete' is a fictional town in which Henry Johns (Tory Kittles) was released from prison on parole. He is shocked by his family's poor living conditions and her dependency on drugs. Meanwhile, Henry reconnects with Ethan (Myles Truitt), his physically challenged younger brother.
Brett Ridgeman (Mel Gibson) and Anthony Lurasetti (Vince Vaughn) of the Bulwark Police Department are investigating an internal assault following the leak of a video showing the couple discussing police brutality against a drug dealer. Ridgeman wants to move his family to a safer area, while Lurasetti wants to propose to his girlfriend, Denise (Tattiawna Jones), but rejects the idea due to a lack of funds. Friedrich, a businessman ties
Friedrich (Udo Kier) offers a tip to Ridgeman to cover a heist planned by Lorentz Vogelmann (Thomas Kretschmann). Nevertheless, Vogelmann requires two more members of his crew and recruits Biscuit (Michael Jai White), Henry's childhood friend. The group then buys a bulletproof van to execute their planned robbery.
Ridgeman convinces Lurasetti to join him, defeat the criminals, and steal the money. Lurasetti reluctantly accepts, and the partners keep an eye on the Vogelmann crew's activities while Kelly Summer is away. They trap everyone when she attempts to inform the authorities.
Ridgeman persuades him otherwise, and they decide to pursue the loot. As Ridgeman and Lurasetti pursue, Henry discovers that the gang is following them but conceals this information from everyone. The story comes to an unexpected halt as the thieves attempt to flee.
Who Gets the Money at the Dragged Across Concrete Ending?
Ridgeman and Lurasetti emerge from the woods when the thieves escape in a bulletproof van and arrive on the outskirts. A spectacular musical chair unfolds, with the grand prize being the stolen gold bullion from the bank, worth millions of dollars. As the conflict escalates, dead bodies begin to fall one by one. Ridgeman shoots Lurasetti in confusion, and Lurasetti suffers his injuries.
While Busciit swallows the car keys but is killed by the Gloves to retrieve them. Ridgeman uses tear gas to distract the Gloves and kills them too, leaving Henry as the sole survivor among the thieves. As a result, Henry refuses to part with Henry and abandons the stolen rifle.
Henry and Ridgeman are the only ones who are likely to win the prize, and their motives make them the most suitable candidates for the prize. However, Ridgeman forces Henry to delete the video at gunpoint, causing Ridgeman to die. Thus, Henry emerges as the unlikely winner from a series of terrifying and horrific challenges to claim the loot for himself.
What Happens to Ridgeman's Family?
Henry and Ridgeman's family's lives are bleak due to his criminal history. Moreover, he dislikes the job his mother must do to provide for him and his younger brother. On the other hand, Ridgeman must provide for his wife and a daughter with the little police salary, which also is taken from him. Lastly, Henry promises Ridgeman that he will care for the latter's family before Ridgeman's death.
Henry and his mother and younger brother are seen living in a luxurious house in the final scenes of the film. Despite Ridgeman's wrongdoings and killings, Ridgeman's family is set to live a comfortable life thanks to Henry's integrity.
