Battlefield 2042: PS4 and PS5 players are boosting due to PS Plus ...

The presence of Battlefield 2042 in the PlayStation Plus Essential free games catalog in March has resulted in a significant increase in the number of active players on Sony platforms, both on PS4 and PlayStation 5.

The number of active Battlefield 2042 players has increased by nearly sixfold (more precisely, by 578%) since the game was added to Sony's subscription service, according to the TrueTrophies portal's curators.

TrueTrophies' exponential rise in active users of BF2042 has re-introduced the multiplayer shooter from Electronic Arts to the Top5 most popular PS Store titles in the coming months, furthering EA DICE's mission of 'turning the tide' of the project following a dismal launch.
