'Sifu' has been backed with updates and new content since it was released last year, and it's a step that should pay off. According to publisher Kepler Interactive, more than two million copies of the crisp beat'em up have now been sold.
The makers of SloClap's "Absolver" released their latest project, the Beat'em Up "Sifu," which entertained with its intrigued revenge plot as well as its versatile combat system in February last year.
Despite the fact that 'Sifu' was released, the indie studio's run is far from over. Instead, the program continues to be supported today with improvements and new functionality. A move that should pay out, according to a recent Kepler Interactive announcement.
"Sifu" has recently reached the next significant milestone, having sold over two million copies on the PlayStation consoles, the Nintendo Switch, and the Epic Games Store, according to the company's latest annual report.
More information is already in the planning stages.
Anyone who can't seem to get enough of "Sifu" can look forward to the next free content update this month. This includes a nine-arena mode as well as 45 challenges where you can put your skills to the test.
Arena mode will keep you busy for up to ten hours when you complete challenges. The corresponding content update will be released on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
The Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S implementations will all be released on the same day, thereby ensuring that the proverbial end of the flagpole with the two million units sold is nearing.
