James Cameron has a different perspective.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Avatar 3's filming isn't finished yet. This is unusual: director James Cameron said he's already finished filming and moved on to post-production.
According to the actress, work on the film will resume in the summer of 2023. It appears that we are talking about filming completion rather than additional filming.
At the end of 2020, James Cameron declared that Avatar 3's shooting was on track. However, in September 2022, the filmmaker talked about continuing filming.
Cameron intends to use Lo'ak, one of Jake Sully's children, as the narrator in the third part of Avatar, and introduce viewers to two Na'vi tribes at the same time. One of the new tribes will be a bit shy.
Avatar 3 is expected to be released in December 2024.
This is an interesting story.
