Avatar 3: Zoe Saldana hasn't been shot yet ...

James Cameron has a different viewpoint.

Zoe Saldana, who plays Neytiri in Avatar 3, said the filming for the sequel is not yet finished; director James Cameron said he's already finished filming and will go on to post-production.

According to the actress, film production will resume in the summer of 2023. Apparently, we are talking about the completion of filming rather than additional filming.

At the end of 2020, James Cameron himself said that Avatar 3's filming had come to an end. However, in September 2022, the director discussed continuing filming.

Cameron intends to use Lo'ak, one of Jake Sully's children, as the narrator in the third part of Avatar, and introduce viewers to two new Na'vi tribes at the same time. One of the new tribes will be a bit shy.

Avatar 3 is scheduled to be released in December 2024.

This is a fascinating piece of information.
