Players who like sniper rifles have been dissatisfied with the current state of Warzone 2, thanks to a bug that appears to be spreading for a few hours, making life even more difficult for those who do not!
A problem that puts your game in jeopardy!
The use of sniper rifles in Warzone 2 and more generally on the Call of Duty license is a sensitive topic. Some will argue that you must be a good player with a good aim to be able to kill opponents in play in one hit.
Others will mock them, implying that the game will require a meta in which players will tend to camp a position. Regardless, for some time sniper rifles have been struggling to establish themselves in the game's meta, and those who continue to play them have encountered a rather irritating bug.
If you shoot your sniper, the game may crash for no reason. This issue does not appear to be that rare, though, especially as far as we know from Reddit!
There is currently no patch to fix it.
What makes this Call of Duty Warzone 2 bug so frustrating is that we aren't sure what's at fault. Players just play and keep their fingers crossed with every shot they make.
This bug is therefore still active at the moment, and the bad news is that we will not be able to offer advice on how to avoid it, if not to play with a sniper rifle. However, when Season 2 Reloaded arrives, things may become more critical.
Yes, we should find, at that time, a new sniper rifle, as well as a game mode dedicated to them! It will therefore have to be resolved as soon as possible on the side of Infinity Ward.
