Jeanne's Tale unlocks after defeating Bayonetta Origins for the first time. However, there's still more to earn. Finishing this side story means another bonus. In addition to additional possibilities for a story, you get some new looks for the main game.
In Bayonetta Origins/em>, defeating Jeanne's tale isn't a long process. It's more a taste and overview than the main game. Someone might easily complete it in an hour.
Three Bayonetta Origins costumes are earned: one for Cereza and one for Cheshire. The Cheshire one is named "Charles." It can only be worn with the "Jeanne" outfit, which becomes available for Cereza after finishing the side story.
If you haven't yet completed Bayonetta Origins, you will need to find this side story in the main menu, under "Extras."
