Sam Neill, 75, spoke to followers with a video that showed him doing "alive and kicking," despite recently revealing his non-Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosis in both a recent interview and his new memoir, Did I Ever Tell You This? After declaring that his health "news seems to be all over the news right now," he admitted to being "slightly tired," because "as you see, I am alive and well and I have been in remission for eight months, which feels fantastic."

Sam further wrote to followers about his healing journey and gave them an update on what he's been up to in his career. He went into depth about his new Peacock series, Apples Never Fall, which also stars actress Annette Bening, and why he wrote it. “I just wish the headline wasn't 'that thing,' says the author.

"I didn't intend to write a book," he said. "I needed something to do while I was recovering, and I'm used to going to work, and I suddenly couldn't go to work." He said he's grateful for his acting success.

"I never imagined that I would become an actor, let alone an actor on screen," he wrote. "But that's what happened, and I'm full of gratitude looking back on this life, and that's what the book is about." He promised his followers to "not worry too much about 'all that," since everything is fine."

Sam is best known for his part as Alan Grant in the popular Jurassic Park franchise. He also starred in The Hunt for Red October in the 1990s, and has received many awards for his work.
