The PS2 original's campaign for this additional mode is said to be free. The game's duration is also said to be longer than in the PS2 original.

Only the actual campaign could be included in the release: "The Mercenaries" will be included at a later date, but will certainly be free. That was confirmed on the last one State of Play. Just like a VR implementation, which is also available as free DLC.
