Abyss World, a souls-like world, is being created on Unreal Engine 5 ...

With a new gameplay video created by Abyss Studio and Metagame Industries, let's open the window to the spooky world of Abyss World powered by Unreal Engine 5.

The most recent in-game videos, provided to us by independent designers, further demonstrate the series' inspiration, which will certainly be akin to FromSoftware's "genre" action RPG masterpieces.

The Nornidia lands, which will serve as the backdrop for the protagonist's Abyss World adventures, echo the Elden Ring Interearth atmosphere, and the same applies to the combat system, both in encounters with secondary creatures and in epic boss battles, which brings the game closer to the gameplay that players experienced in Sekiro Shadows Die Twice.

Abyss World will place us in the position of a knight who escaped the destruction of his kingdom and, therefore, eager to wash away the pit of evil, restore order, and eradicate once and for all creatures that became as a result of the Black Tide.

Abyss World is scheduled to be released later in 2023 on PC and PlayStation 5 as an exclusive console.
