Microsoft sent Valheim on Xbox to Xbox Game Pass subscribers in a email, in which the information states that "Xbox console exclusivity will be renewed for a limited period of six months."
Iron Gate Studio isn't a large development team (the game was created by five individuals) and may prefer additional months to work on new releases. Smaller studios should take this into account.
Valheim is a survival video game developed by Iron Gate Studio in Sweden, and published by Coffee Stain Studios. Early access is now available on Steam February 2, 2021 for Linux and Windows users, and March 14, 2023 for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S users.
