BloodPop welcomed its audience on the sidelines of the Night of the Oscars in 2023, with the announcement that it will enter the gaming business: the studio that has produced such artists as Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, and Grimes has created Genpop Interactive, a software company that is already developing its first video game.

BloodPop, an eclectic American musician and record producer, will collaborate with Ed Fries, the co-creator of the first Xbox console, and the Japanese company Good Smile Company to create a new kind of entrepreneurial activity that, according to BloodPop, "will form the heart of the next generation of music, fashion, and video game culture."

BloodPop's first game will be a multiplayer third-person shooter, according to the Genpop team's website, with only the sketches that depict the characters and a passage in which the Genpop team explains that their next title will include "innovative animations, movements, and combat mechanics".

BloodPop's 25 videogame developers, according to the official website of Genpop Interactive, come from the most significant backgrounds of the game, having contributed to the creation of titles such as League of Legends, Halo Infinite, Call of Duty, Magic Arena, Minecraft, and many others.
