According to Sony, the Elder Scrolls VI and Starfield were planned for PlayStation ...

Sony continues to make interesting announcements in the never-ending partnership between Microsoft and Activision. This time the company stated that The Elder Scrolls VI and Starfield would be released on PlayStation consoles, but these games became Xbox and PC exclusives after Microsoft's acquisition of the developers.

Sony is attempting to paraphrase this example as the reason for the lack of a contract, and is accusing Microsoft of making phony claims that Bethesda games would remain available on all platforms after the merger with Microsoft. It's even more hilarious considering how much emphasis Sony places on its own exclusive games and how strong studios are developing them.
