The community has devised other approaches to honor Reddick's life. Some players have chosen to accent their armor and weapons with one of Destiny 2's many Vanguard-themed shades, while others have chosen to wear the "Push Forward" emblem, which bears the same symbol as on Zavala's chestplate.
The director of Destiny has issued an official statement on his death. "Lance Reddick was a household name on screen, in Destiny, and most importantly in person," according to Studio Bungie. "His devotion to his cause reflected in Commander Zavala, as well as his warm hospitality to those around him."
