When the last scenes from the first season of The Last of Us went away, we saw the information about the second season. Despite all of this, the second season will take a long time to prepare. Although the individual episodes will most likely be written before filming begins, it may still take some time. And only when that is complete can post-production begin, which again takes many months.
Bella Ramsey offers some insight into her second season in the program: "It will take some time, I think we will probably begin shooting towards the end of this year, maybe early next year," says the author. "It will most likely be late 2024, early 2025."
If we are lucky, we may get fresh episodes by the end of next year. Is Bella Ramsey correct? Perhaps the scriptwriters will finish faster than expected, and the filming can begin sooner? Or the post-production is delayed, and we must wait longer?
The second season of the show will focus on that.
Craig Mazin and Neil Druckman, the authors of The Last of Us, have also repeatedly spoken out about what season two will be about.
