After a 45-day window, Shazam! Fury of the Gods will follow HBO Max's predecessor ...

The first Shazam film on HBO Max or Netflix has been released, and we've revealed when Shazam 2 will be released on the latter.

James Gunn and Peter Safran have announced that the DCCU will be re-established. Zachary Levi has previously expressed interest in returning to the role of Shazam — perhaps the post-credit scene will point us in the right direction.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods is a direct sequel to its 2019 predecessor, introducing the DC Comics character of the same name, following Billy Baston's fight against the Daughters of Atlas. Featuring Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Rachel Zegler, Lucy Liu, Helen Mirren, and others, it's a direct sequel to the 2019 film.

Is it on HBO Max or Netflix?Where can I find the first Shazam on a streaming platform?

The first Shazam movie is now available for streaming on HBO Max, although a subscription is required to view the streaming platform's content.

HBO Max provides two subscription options to interested parties: either a "With Ads" package for $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year, or a "Ads-Free" package for $15.99 per month or $149.99 per year.

The first Shazam film isn't available on Netflix, however, and any DC project will unlikely make its way to Netflix in the future, because Warner Bros. is in charge of both DC live-action projects and the HBO Max streaming service.

Fans may also purchase, stream, or rent HBO Max on Amazon Prime Video, the iTunes store, or Google Play.
