FIFA has just lost a surprising partner, Electronic Arts itself. As predicted, the American publisher is separating itself from the sports organization to offer its own football matches, which is evidently not the case on the other side.
Two Ways
Electronic Arts has been a regular FIFA partner since their current feud with Pro Evolution Soccer and their absolute dominance in the soccer gaming world, churning out a game every year that sells for absolutely unbelievable prices, we felt comfortable in that position. FIFA 23 was the last game developed by the publisher.
According to Andrew Wilson, the FIFA license is a more potent tool than anything else.
Instead, EA will be able to offer more or less the same games, but be dubbed "EA Sports FC." They will no longer be able to run the World Cup, but already have hundreds of other franchises, and recently the company signed a huge deal with the Premier League.

The president of the famous International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) says there is nothing to fear. The one who will be renamed at the head until 2027 has issued a brief statement: FIFA matches will continue to exist and compete with Electronic Arts' EA Sports FC.
