Persona 5: The Phantom X is a freeware version of the Atlus series, which was revealed in 2021 by publisher Perfect World Games and development studio Black Wings Game Studio.
Persona 5: The Phantom X is still under development, but the economic model is already established: free-to-play with items that can be purchased with real money. Registrations for the "Infiltration Test" will begin on March 29, 2023 and will cover the whole country of China.

Persona 5: The Phantom X is an all-new game set in Tokyo, following a new group of Phantom Thieves, while the graphics and presentation have been improved for mobile users.
SEGA and Atlus' P-Studio oversaw the development and provided resources, while Perfect World Games and Black Wings Game Studio designed it and will manage its distribution and management. Shigenori Soejima at Atlus created the protagonists and their Personas.
Persona 5: The Phantom X has a central theme of "desire" and depicts a group of students who have awakened their Personas and face together the challenges of an age when desires have faded. After school, they will invade the other world, which appears in different structures, where they will face adversaries.
