The new version adds native 60fps support to the current generation of consoles.

With the upgrade, the Xbox versions also receive a resolution increase: Far Cry 5 is now available at 1080p, while the Xbox Series X can run the game at 4K resolution. The PS5 will remain the same as before, running at a dynamic resolution of 28801620.

The whole main game is now available, and it will be on sale for 85% off if you wish to purchase and continue playing.

Far Cry 5's fifth anniversary will be commemorated with a new update and a free weekend deal. The game takes place in Hope County, Montanna, in which you must depose a group of cultists.
