Perfect World Games and developer Black Wings Game Studio announced Persona 5: The Phantom X in April 2021, and both trailers depicted the Persona 5 universe.
The Phantom X's story will revolve around students waking to their Personas and confronting difficulties together in an era of "low desire." As per Gematsu's translation, the story of The Phantom X will also be played at nighttime, in a good and kind of impressive way.
Persona 5: The Phantom X is still under wraps, and there is no indication of whether or not it will be distributed internationally. Considering the amount of effort that seems to be going into it to make it feel like Persona 5, this may be the rare mobile game to generate genuine interest from the hardcore RPG crowd.
However, while we consider the possibility of a Persona 5 mobile RPG, we must also acknowledge the fact that Persona 6 isn't coming to North America for the first time.
