Larsa Pippen, a 48-year-old son of retired Hall of Fame basketball player Michael Jordan, is already contemplating her future in the cutest way! During the second part of the season 5 reunion of The Real Housewives of Miami, Larsa was asked if she would hyphenate her name if she and Marcus got engaged, and she replied with a simple yes.
Michael Jordan, 60, used to play on the Chicago Bulls alongside Larsa's ex-husband Scottie Pippen in the '80s and '90s. The former teammates are not friends, however, due to Scottie's disapproval of how he was depicted in ESPN's 2020 documentary The Last Dance, which follows Michael's final season with the Chicago Bulls from 1997 to 1998.
During the Real Housewives of Miami Season 5 reunion, Larsa was asked about her Michael connection, but she refused to divulge. “I mean, I want to talk about Marcus and I,” she told host Andy Cohen.
When asked about the "unusual" relationship, she said she never knew Marcus while she was with Scottie, whom she divorced in January 2022 after three years of separation. "I just met him a few years ago. I never met him before."
Larsa and Marcus were first discovered together in September while dining at Miami's famous Zuma restaurant. After a few months of speculation and even public hand-holding, a person close to the couple confirmed they are indeed an item. In January, they told PEOPLE that they are still making friends.
Larsa defended their 16-year age difference in February during a talk on the Tamron Hall Show. "I'm not concerned about other people's opinions. I'm okay."
