Daisy (Riley Keough) returns to the States and her world-famous band after months of partying in Greece. Three key romances and a tense love triangle threaten to ruin all of the band's efforts. Billy (Sam Claflin) takes on Daisy and her new husband.

Billy and Daisy yell out in private as they prepare for their sold-out tour. Daisy is furious that Billy called her a headcase in a Rolling Stone interview. Billy says she forgot about his daughter's birth. Nicky arrives. Will this change the band's dynamics?
Rod Reyes (Timothy Olyphant) has been hired as the band's tour manager. Billy and Daisy make elaborate demands, while Daisy demands a complete wardrobe for their outlandish stage outfits.
Billy refuses to join the group in the night, opting to stay away from the others in his separate tour bus.
Tensions continue to rise during a press conference. Daisy is irritated by the questions as the reporters focus on her appearance and lyrics. Billy also tries to downplay the accusations, but Daisy wants the reporters to hear the truth. Afterward, Billy and Daisy scuffle. Daisy accuses Billy of being a liar. However, Billy believes Daisy is also lying to herself. Karen informs the rest of the band that Graham is dating Graham.
Camila rejoins the tour for a short time, but the band party gets harder. Eddie admits that she was inappropriate the night Camila walked out on Billy. She tells Eddie that she was hurt at the time and that it will never happen again. Daisy's thoughts are starting to change. Nicky has become increasingly attracted to her.
Daisy is beginning to spiral. She refuses to eat and is becoming more dependent on drugs during performances. She starts to stumble on stage during a performance, but she refuses to shake the boat. Nicky confronts Billy about the drug use afterward.
Daisy falls on stage and cuts her leg. Billy tries to pull her off the stage, but the crowd begins to chant her name, persuading her to keep singing the one song Billy refuses to play, 'Look at Us Now (Honeycomb.' Billy storms off, and Daisy sings it alone.

Daisy and Nicky continue the downward spiral by taking additional drugs. Billy tells Rod that he'll leave Daisy out of the band. Nicky replies, clearly concealing something. Billy barges in and discovers Daisy unconscious in the shower. He panics, escaping.
Billy cradles Daisy in the shower, begging her to wake up. Daisy eventually does, staring upwards at Billy with pure love in her eyes. Or, more figuratively, she has chosen Billy over Nicky. She understands this better through this tour and return to America.
