Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, two veteran survivors, are departing from Raccoon City on a Battle Bus as part of a Fortnite and Resident Evil crossover. The two characters have been announced in a March 17, 2023 blog post on the official Fortnite website.
Claire Redfield's Fortnite appearance is similar to what she is seen in the Resident Evil 2 remake, with her character's appearance tweaked slightly to match Fortnite's style. The Back Bling is inspired by the four unique metal keys that open doors inside the Raccoon City Police Department building.
Leon S. Kennedy's Fortnite skin is more reminiscent of his Resident Evil 4 appearance and its remake than his "rookie cop" appearance in Resident Evil 2. Leon's skin pack is called the "We Will Beat This: Leon S. Kennedy" pack. It also includes a Combat Knife Pickaxe and a Back Bling patterned after his voluminous attaché' case.
Fortnite is available on iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, as well as on PC starting March 17, 2023.
